Coral Gables Cabinet Painting: Thermofoil to Snowbound

These MDF cabinets in a Coral Gables building originally had a thermofoil wrap — a material that can't simply be painted over without proper prep, or the finish peels. We fully removed the existing thermofoil down to the bare MDF, then primed and sealed it properly before spraying a factory-smooth topcoat in Sherwin-Williams Snowbound (SW 7004). The result is a durable, factory-quality finish built to actually last — done right, not just painted over.
